Our Confidentiality Commitment

Premature disclosure that a business is contemplating an exit can cause immediate harm: employee turnover, vendor tightening, client anxiety, and competitor exploitation.

At Cornerstone, confidentiality is codified into every phase of our operations. No public listings ever mention your business name, location, or customer specifics. We require executed legal NDAs and verified proof of buyer liquid funds before releasing our Confidential Business Review (CBR).

Confidential Consultation FAQs

Common questions regarding discovery meetings, confidentiality agreements, and required records.

No. Our initial introductory consultations are completely complimentary and carry zero obligation. The primary purpose is mutual evaluation: understanding your personal and financial goals, evaluating historical performance, and determining if Cornerstone's disciplined advisory model is the right fit for your enterprise.

For an accurate Opinion of Value (OOV), we typically request 3 to 5 years of historical balance sheets, profit & loss statements, filed corporate federal tax returns, and current trailing twelve-month (TTM) interim financials. We also review a list of discretionary owner add-backs (personal perks, one-time expenses, non-market compensation).

Absolutely. We frequently execute mutual confidentiality agreements prior to receiving any financial documentation or proprietary business records. Simply request an NDA when submitting your inquiry or mention it during our initial phone conversation.
